Learn how to make, cover and decorate these stunning bauble shaped cakes in this hugely popular class
Saturday 21st April
10.30am - 4.30pm, Paddock Wood
A few years ago, I created a beautiful tower of stunning mini sphere cakes for my best friend's wedding. I spent hours, weeks and months trying to figure out the best way to make those little round cakes of perfection and now I teach everything I learned in my beautiful spherical cake class.
These are quite possibly the most beautiful cakes I've ever made and I'm delighted to be able to share my personal techniques with you in this class.
What we will cover:
How to bake sphere cakes (this will be done in advance of the class but I will take you through the step by step process and the recipe I use)
How to fill and assemble sphere cakes.
How to cover sphere cakes for a smooth and perfect finish.
Royal Icing technques for loops, pearls and tiny leaves
Design considerations for this style of cake
Neat tricks and tips for making decorating this style of cake a little easier!
**FREE EQUIPMENT WITH THIS CLASS**
All the equipment, tools and edible materials you need will be provided for you to use during the class and you will also take home your own sphere baking mould for recreating these gorgeous cakes again at home.
You will go home with at least three stunning spherical cakes, two minaiature ones, and a fact pack with photos and explanations of everything we have covered in the class.
This class will take place in our new location in Paddock Wood. It is within easy reach of nearby towns Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge and Maidstone.
We will provide as much tea, coffee and soft drinks as you would like throughout the day, however, if you have a particular preference, you are of course welcome to bring your own refreshments. Please bring a packed lunch with you - we will take a 1/2 hour break for lunch and it's hungry work so bring something yummy!
