Join me for a comprehensive day covering every aspect of cupcake making and decorating. Cupcakes were my first 'cake' love over ten years ago and I'm delighted to offer this wonderul class sharing everything I have learned over those years to give you an amazing head start as you begin your own journey in the world of cake decorating.

How to make the perfect cupcakes: we'll discuss the key tips and tricks for making a flat and perfect top on your cupcakes to create a perfect canvas for decorating.
The perfect buttercream recipe for lovely smooth piping and decorating.
Different types of sugarpastes and reasons why we use different ones for different techniques.
You can then choose your own colour scheme for creating your own set of gorgeous cupcakes - well discuss how to make good choices about colour and the key elements that will make your cupcakes look beautiful together in their box.
You'll be taught a number of fabulous decorating techniques:
How to make tiny flowers including blossoms and daisies
How to create larger poppy flowers
How to make and form butterflies
How to apply edible lustre to your butterflies for a stunning finish
How to make sugarpaste cupcake toppers
How to use your flowers to create styled embellishments on your cupcake toppers
How to create a beautiful handmade, fully edible rose.
We'll colour our buttercream and learn how to use a number of different piping nozzles to create on-trend mixed piped buttercream cupcakes.
We'll then assemble all of our gorgeous edible decorations to create a fully co-ordinated box of 12 cupcakes for you to take home and show off!
You will also be given a fact sheet with full details of all of the products, recipes and tools that we have used throughout the day.
All the equipment, tools and edible materials you need will be provided for you to use during the class.
