Yet another two amazing classes with Kirsty at CakeyBake. She is a very patient and helpful teacher.
Every detail of the class is well thought about before hand and explained in understandable easy to follow instruction. Both my daughter and I have recently done the Chocolate class and the Cookie class. We had the most fun. In fact we’ve spent the last couple of weeks in the kitchen non stop creating cookies and chocs. Would highly recommend. ENJOY π

I done the 2 day chocolate class with Kirsty. She is a brilliant teacher. The class is easy to understand and so worth it. It is the first time I have actually understood tempering and have finally achieved it. All Kirsty's classes are amazing and well worth the money x

Wow am I glad I joined up for the 2 day Chocolate cake. It was amazing and I learnt to much along the way. Everyone created shiny and highly decorated chocolates all with their own unique take. Kirsty also gave tips on filling flavours as well.
Kirsty is a font of knowledge and delivers this course in an enjoyable and fun way. She is always on hand following the course to answer and help with any queries you may have.
The group for this course is fun too as you get to chat to likeminded people and see there amazing creations.
My family loved me doing this course as they got to eat yummy chocolates.
This course is amazing as is Kirsty.

Wow!! where do I start - I signed up for Kirsty's online Chocolate course. I received a small box of goodies - items that we were going to use on the course - it was so exciting to think of learning something new with everyone else. The course was great and Kirsty is a such a lovely person. She explained everything answered any questions that we had. It was fantastic! I have learned so much, and have a lovely new skill. I didn't realise that I could make such beautiful chocolates - Kirsty is a wonderful trainer who gives confidence and lots of help and guidance to make these lovely chocs. I would recommend attending her classes - not only are they such good value for money but you will learn so much which is priceless!!!

I attended the online 2 day chocolate class. Kirsty is a fantastic teacher, very knowledgeable and was attentive to all the questions being asked. The class worked really well being online and it’s great that it is available to watch again. I enjoyed it so much I have signed up to do more of Kirsty’s classes!

I attended the online chocolate class with Kirsty and honestly I enjoyed it so much. Kirsty is absolutely amazing she guided us through each step and made everything so simple to understand. Kirsty has gone above and beyond in putting this course together and thought about every little thing from the little box of goodies to the handouts! She even took time out before and after the course for Q&A. Although I would say that I had some experience of working with chocolate this course has given me more in depth knowledge and endless ways to get creative with it. The handouts are clear and easy to understand and we can go back and watch the live whenever we want to and of course Kirsty is always available to answer any questions we may have. Thank you Kirsty for an amazing course and for all the time and effort you and your family have put into it π

The Cakeybake live, online chocolate course. What can I say other than it was brilliant.
The quality of Kirsty's training is hugely impressive. She's so organised and thinks of everything. We received a goody box of essentials and a list of things we needed to buy (kept to a minimum) along with links to the best sources. We have a handout and a video of the complete course that was conducted live on facebook. Plus lots of online support after the course, both from Kirsty and from each other.
The course itself covered how to decorate polycarbonate moulds using different techniques, chocolate tempering, and fillings for our beautiful bonbons, followed by instructions for capping and releasing our super shiny creations.
Chocolate courses tend to be expensive because it's so trendy but Kirsty's course is terrific value for money, especially when you factor in all the time she has spent putting together such an informative and inspiring course.
Everyone in the group is now hooked and the result's have been amazing.

I attended (virtually) Kirsty’s Online Chocolate Class it was so good I don’t even know where to begin telling you how great it was!
Kirsty kindly sent out packs before the course so we didn’t have to buy huge amounts of ingredients or equipment. It was really exciting to receive the box and have a look at all the goodies we would be using.
Prior to the course Kirsty was very helpful through the private Facebook group so that we were all ready for Part 1.
Everything was explained thoroughly and so positively, it was a pleasure. Just the right pace so you didn’t feel rushed or like it was going too slow.
We also have hand outs for future reference and the live video to watch back if we need to.
I know Kirsty said this course has been a few years in the making for her, you can tell because she has thought of everything! What a superstar!
She even gave up her evening the following day after the course ended to do a Q&A. Above and beyond!
Thank you again Kirsty. Can’t wait for the next one!

I was quite late signing up to the online chocolate making course but Kirsty still got my equipment box to me on time.
I was a complete novice but Kirsty made everything clear to understand and her knowledge of chocolate making gave me so much confidence.
Kirsty keeps up with all your questions and makes sure that everyone understands where they are at.

I attended the (virtual!) chocolate making course, which was my first course with Kirsty but it certainly won’t be my last.
Kirsty is SO knowledgable. She’s so patient, calm and chatty, and explained things in a simple yet effective way. I especially loved how she took her time, and didn’t rush to get through the course to time restraints. She has been brilliant answering questions before and after, and takes a genuine interest in her students work. She went above and beyond to ensure we had all the information and tools we needed. And this support has been ongoing.

My daughter and I did the online chocolate course last week and really enjoyed it. We’d never done anything like this before and learnt so much. We followed it live but having the videos and handouts is great.

I have attended CakeyBake classes for many years in person so was thrilled that there was an online offering during lockdown too. The most recent course I attended was the online chocolate making and it was fabulous, so detailed but also really down to earth and easy to follow. With a Facebook group full of new friends and files to download too not only do you learn a new skill but you can share your creations with everyone too. Would 100% recommend for excellent value for money.

Just completed a introduction to chocolate making online. I decided to join this class to do something different and connect with others. I thought there would be a handful of people but no there were approximately 85 like minded people at home enjoying themselves.
The class was easy to follow and some of the basic equipment was supplied via post. There was lots of good tips and all questions were answered.
Now I'm hooked, I have a new group of chocolate friends to share my experience with and look forward to the next class.

I have been lucky enough to go to two face to face classes with Kirsty and attended two online classes. I have been to all four classes with my step daughter and I can honestly say that we have both thoroughly enjoyed them and learned so much. We can make beautiful cakes for family members and friends and now we can also make exquisite chocolates. You are a fabulous teacher Kirsty and we look forward to our next class, highly recommend all classes.

Signed up to Kirsty's chocolate making class feeling like I'd most likely be way out of my depth and left behind, but I needn't have worried! Kirsty explained everything very clearly, step by step, and was more than happy to answer my (many) questions. It was a lot of fun, and has given me a much needed confidence boost in working with chocolate.

Totally loved the Chocolate Course. The course was really well prepared with fabulous communication before the course. I knew exactly what to expect. The course itself was perfectly paced, crystal clear and really professional. The end result was fabulous! And there was even follow up after the course. I would really recommend Kirsty’s classes. I have attended a few both face to face and online and they have all been absolutely brilliant. Cannot rate her highly enough!

Attended a 2 day introduction to chocolate making -have been so pleased with all the information and advice that Kirsty sent beforehand as well during the classes (2x3 hr classes over last weekend) .Throughly enjoyed her way of teaching ,with either watching whilst she did the demo and then following along or just doing what I did and followed during the demo making a rather substandard choc but just couldn’t wait !
Kirsty is obviously a joy to watch with her cheerful personality and no question is too small or too daft -would do another class and recommend in a heartbeat.

Kirsty is a great tutor; clear documentation sent well ahead of the class so you know what you need, brilliant on line demonstrations and a great Facebook community support network.
I can’t recommend these classes highly enough & will definitely be doing more!

Kirsty's online classes during lockdown have been such a lovely treat both kids and adults. The most recent class i have attended was the online chocolate making. I was so nervous as never done anything like it before but Kirsty is such an amazing teacher and so patient and makes it so enjoyable. I love my new skill!

I have done quite a few of Kirsty's classes (some with my children and some adult only) and have thoroughly enjoyed every class! She is a fantastic teacher, offers guidance and support in abundance and creates a relaxed yet informed environment whether in person or online. She offers a variety of classes and my skill base is building across many techniques and bakes, most recently chocolate making. The chocolate workshop was my first class with Kirsty...............and it won't be my last! Although I already had some chocolate knowledge, I still learned tips and tricks along with totally new skills like making fillings and colouring moulds etc. Kirsty is so patient, approachable and knowledgeable. She works at a good pace, ensuring everyone is with her, before moving on.....plus is willing to share extra knowledge like the best places to buy certain items. I have been a adult learner on Kirsty's amazing classes and think I have attended most of them over the years, she is a fab patient teacher and her enthusiasm for sharing her cake experiences with us is infectious.
Through the Covid lockdown Kirsty very kindly along with her daughter Bonnie have bought to us via online fab news classes and I for one having to shield thoroughly enjoyed everyone of them, certainly kept me entertained, and Kirsty's attention to detail is far and beyond. I highly recommend her classes Adult and child classes, and she has an amazing studio too if you can get there. π

I love all Kirsty’s Cakeybake classes they are so fun and engaging. She makes them really easy to follow so anyone can try them. The classes are so entertaining and are all really unique so I never get bored. Really great online Halloween class for kids, thank you Kirsty! As always, you pitch it just right in terms of ability - my 8 year old was able to do most things independently, and my 4 year old needed only a little help from me. The videos were very clear, and I loved the fact that we could watch later and catch up if we were unable to bake/decorate along live. We're definitely signing up for the Christmas one!

All I can say is what an amazing company. Outstanding staff. Always willing to help me with any requests I might have! I’ve been using them for a good 6 months whenever I need wafer printing. And I’ll continue to use them as I grow as a cake maker!!!

My children have attended a face to face class with Kirsty as well as now completing the online classes and I really can’t recommend them highly enough. Both my children (daughter aged 11 and son aged 10) thoroughly enjoy the lessons. Kirsty sends so much detailed information over before the class takes places and then explains everything so well during the class. The fact that she has her daughter assisting, really helps with the demonstration purposes. Kirsty always makes sure that everyone is ready to move on before she shows you the next step. My children love these classes and can’t wait for the next one to take place.

Wow what can I say, amazing fun for a really great price. I have loved the adult classes but living so far away has made it difficult to attend the children’s, although we have done a couple.
The opportunity to join in the online children’s Easter class was fabulous. My girls 10 and 11, did it themselves as they like to be independent and don’t like mum ‘trying’ to help.
They loved all of it and as family we loved eating the treats they made.
Fabulous fun during a difficult time for all, the joining information and equipment needed was easy to get. The step by step instructions easy to follow. Can’t wait for the next one!!

Kirsty classes are amazing. I’ve done the adult ones and my children love her children’s classes. A school holiday isn’t complete without a trip to see Kirsty. Her children’s classes are amazing and the children are thoroughly engaged and she takes her time to ensure everyone understands what needs to be done, steps are broken down into small parts so all the children can follow along. Now with the current situation her live Facebook courses are just as great and are making the situation more bearable and providing a bit of normality for my children. I’d thoroughly recommend her courses.

Had such a fun day with Kirsty and fellow pupils for the drip cake decorating. Lots of light hearted banter. Kirsty gave good instructions and tips and nothing was too much trouble. Even when disaster struck she gave instructions on correcting it. I came home with a beautiful cake.

I have used Cakey bake 4 times now and I’m never disappointed. I have had black and white photos printed on an icing sheet to wrap around a cake which have been perfectly printed, people commented on how great the cake looked. Have used the cake topper service, always high quality and fantastic designs. My daughter loves the cup cake decorating classes. Kirsty is a fantastic facilitator and the kids end up with superbly decorated cakes. Although a theme and clear instructions, the kids are able to put their own twist on each design.

I AM AMAZED!! I ordered 15 assorted cupcake edible photos on Saturday evening at about 6pm and they arrived at 11am on Tuesday. I AM ABSOLUTELY AMAZED and so grateful. I've attended a number of Kirsty's classes and they have all been fabulous. I've learnt so many new skills, overcome gremlins (airbrush phobia), laughed, made friends and come away with exhaustive handouts that are invaluable when 'home alone'.
Kirsty has such a lovely manner it's hard not to feel a easy straight away; she's so knowledgeable, funny, and nurturing; all the traits of a wonderful teacher.
I'm looking forward to attending many more classes (bring on the macarons!) and would highly recommend any level of cake maker attend her classes, they're marvellous! Xx

I've just completed the Sphere cake class and wanted to thank and congratulate Kirsty on running such a brilliant, fun-filled class! This is my third 'cakeybake' class and the best so far! Kirsty is a patient and entertaining tutor - she never makes you feel daft at the questions you ask and is always willing to share what she knows - and that's a lot! A lot of my friends would rather go to a Spa day - but I think this is much better value for money and you get to take home a 'tastier' feeling of self indulgence!

Kirsty ran a birthday party for my 7 year old daughter today, it was amazing. Harry Potter was the theme and the children made four amazing cakes, they were thrilled. Attended my first CakeyBake session on Saturday and it was amazing! Such a wonderful day with a wonderful atmosphere. Lots of great tips and ideas shared and freedom to experiment and play with the different skills taught to us. Kirsty gave each person time to help support them in development of their new skills and is just a very welcoming and bubbly person which is addictive making the class fun and relaxed. I have been very lucky to attend many of CakeyBake's courses. Kirsty is an experienced teacher and she guides her students to achieve such high standards with her never ending patience. I have learnt so much about cake, using fondant and flower paste, icing skills, making and using ganache (to name a just a few Techniques) and have always come home with stunning cakes that look too good to eat!! A day at a CakeyBake class is so much fun - friends are made with like-minded people.

I have attended on of Kirsty's classes and a couple of one to one sessions. A complete novice I arrived feeling nervous, but there was no need. Kirsty is so friendly and enthusiastic and I was immediately put at ease. Her teaching style is amazing and she makes the difficult seem easy with her tips and techniques. I am completely hooked now! I can't wait to get on and do some more. I can't think of a better way or a better person to spend the day with and you get to eat cake!

If you are looking for some guideance whether you want to bake at home or make a business out of your new found love, I wouldn't recommend anyone but her! Even "aftercare" on courses, she's there for advice and tips.

I have now been on three of Kirsty's courses, and every one has been an amazing experience, with loads of 'wow' moments! Everything is provided, down to the apron! You get a chance to try out so many techniques and are shown some very clever ways of saving time, in a really straightforward way. I came away from each course really feeling that I'd learned so much and eager to recreate everything in my own home - the cakes I have made since (painted cupcakes, cupcake bouquet and designer cupcakes) ALL have the wow factor and bring in so many compliments. I can't wait till the Wedding cupcake one next month! Thanks Kirsty!

If you want to learn perfection and attention to detail these are the classes to take! I have attended a few different classes as well as a one to one tuition. Kirsty is really friendly and encouraging and teaches you to a high standard so you will come away with some amazing creations! The classes are a great atmosphere and you learn so many new skills.

Attended Kirsty's ganached cake course which I found brilliant, the recipe I took away with me is to die for and always recieves me rave reviews from customers along with compliments on the professional finish of the cakes with the sharp edges that Kirsty taught us, really boosted my confidence to 'big cakes' thanks Kirsty hope to attend another course soon!

I have been on a few different Cakeybake classes over the last couple of years and I can't possibly choose my favourite as they were all amazing! Kirsty is so helpful and professional and gives you all the confidence you need to create something to be proud of. Thank you Kirsty - I'll be back again very soon!! X

Kirsty ran a birthday party for my five year old daughter. She wanted a Care Bears theme, which Kirsty was happy to provide.
The children arrived and sat decorating their aprons whilst waiting for everyone.
The children decorated 4 cupcakes each, gradually increasing in difficulty. The party was a mix of boys and girls and they all joined in with enthusiasm.
Kirsty managed the children fantastically, they loved her, she had the right mix of fun and control.
The children were so proud to take their cupcakes home, I paid the extra for the enhanced party bags and aprons which the parents and children were overjoyed with.
One mum said it was the most relaxed party she had ever been to.
The children all had a fantastic time and I got to provide my daughter with a bespoke party for her to remember forever.
Thank you so much Kirsty, now plan in the party for my soon to be 7 year old.

CakeyBake classes have inspired and encouraged my love of baking on so many occasions and in so many ways. Kirsty's teaching is friendly, professional and easy to follow and only teaches things you can recreate at home, she really knows her stuff so it's great value for money, all you take with you is your lunch! I have been in almost every class and as such I am a member of the CakeyBake students Facebook page which is like a crazy cakey family. Will definitely come again soon x
