Suitable for: those with some decorating experience

An intense, intricate class that will teach you the fundamentals of cake design; spacing, balance and symmetry - giving you confidence to create beautiful, neat works of edible art in the future.

We'll teach you:

• Cutting and layering a 5" vanilla sponge cake
• Filling a sponge cake
• How to work with shaped cake
• Constructing your domed cake
• Working with ganache to cover a cake flawlessly
• Covering a shaped cake with sugarpaste
• Making delicate sugar flowers and leaves
• CReating other embellishments
• Completing your beautiful cake

We'll discuss other ways you can personalise your cake and make it individual, leaving you with an awesome new skill for your portfolio :) 

Please note: this class involves a great deal of intense hand work - if you suffer with weak wrists or joints in your hands/fingers then we do not recommend you attend.

Allergens: We are unable to cater for any food allergies / intolerences in this class as the primary ingredients we use contain both dairy and wheat and cannot be substituted easily.

This class will take place at my Cake School at the Hop Farm in Paddock Wood, Kent.

Cancellations Policy:

Class bookings are non-refundable. If you cancel before 14 days in advance of a class, you will receive a credit to the value of your class (less booking fee) for a future class.

If you cancel within 14 days of a class taking place, we offer a 50% credit towards a future class.

If you cancel within 7 days of a class taking place, no credit will be given.

All classes include a non-refundable £25 booking fee.
