Terms & Conditions

Edible prints are all printed bespoke to order and we do not keep printed stock.

No refunds will be given on any edible prints as they are printed to order specifically for each customer and cannot be resold.

In the event of incorrect printing, on production of photographic evidence, we will reprint your order free of charge.

Exact colour reproduction cannot be guaranteed on edible prints due to the edible inks used. Certain colours are harder to colour match, primarily purple, turquoise and pink.

You must have permission to use any images you send to us for printing. All printing is undertaken for your personal use and we do not accept legal responsibility for how you use and display your edible prints.

Our FAQ page offers advice on how to use the edible prints and help on getting the best results from your edible print. We cannot be held responsible for how you use the prints and the results you achieve with them.

In the event of you not sending us images in time for printing, resulting in the cancellation of your order,  we will place a credit on account for you to use against a future order.

Goods returned to us due to non collection, incorrect address supplied or buyer refusing delivery will not be refunded, only offered to be resent at the buyers cost.

We post all edible print orders by Royal Mail 1st Class as standard. A delivery date cannot be guaranteed with this service, but is currently advised at between 1-5 working days.

Free delivery for qualifying orders will be posted by 1st Class mail.

Postage options are as follows, using the Royal Mail service - orders are dispatched on Monday, Wednesday and Friday:

  • 1st Class Postage: £2
  • Special Delivery: £8.20 (this is NOT a guaranteed next day service, but will provide a much faster delivery time)
  • Guaranteed Saturday Delivery (order must be placed by 11am on the Friday): £12.10 - please ask for this postage on checkout and we will invoice you for the extra amount.
  • Free postage on orders over £30 wil be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class Signed For postage (upgrades available at the above extra prices).

Proof of postage is obtained for all goods posted and will be provided should you wish to claim against Royal Mail for late / non delivery.

If a guaranteed postal service is used and is not delivered (or attempted to be delivered) on the specified date, we will refund the cost of postage back to you if you choose not to claim against the Royal Mail.

Telling us the date you require your prints by is not a guarantee that they will arrive by that date and refunds will not be given due to prints not arriving within the customers desired timeframe.

Class Content:

Classes are developed with the intention of teaching you skills and techniques for creating the same styles on your own cakes and cupcakes at home. We are happy for you reproduce any of the cakes you make in our classes for your own personal baking or in your baking business. We do not allow any of our classes to be reproduced or taught - our class content, structure, notes, photographs, text and instructions are all copyright CakeyBake and you may not teach our designs, techniques, or collections in your own classes.

Class Rules in our teaching studio:

We take your safety and wellbeing very seriously and will adhere to all current government guidelines in order to remain legal and compliant and most importantly, safe. If you do not agree to work within those guidelines, we will not be able to accommodate you on a class. If the rules change at any time prior to your class, you will be advised by email.

If you have to self-isolate / are awaiting test results:

If you have been asked to self isolate due or are awaiting COVID test results, you will not be permitted to take part in a class.
You will asked to confirm this on arrival at the venue and we expect that you will be honest with us for the safety and well-being of your fellow students and tutor.

In the event you are unable to attend a class due to covid symptoms /test results, please contact us at your nearest opportunity so that we can help - if we are able to find a replacement for you on the class, we will issue a full refund, if we are not, we will issue you with a class credit to be used in the future. You will be asked to provide evidence.

If your tutor has to cancel the class due to self-isolating or awaiting a test result, we will give you as much notice as possible and either issue you a full refund of the price you paid for your class or a credit note for a future class.

Lockdown:

There is always the possibility that we may be put into a regional or nationwide lockdown at any time in order for the government to manage the current pandemic, and we will obviously have to adhere to any legal guidelines that affect the business.

In the event a lockdown affects the running of your booked class, we will take action depending on the situation - this could involve:

  • rescheduling your class to a date after the imposed lockdown
  • applying a class credit to you
  • moving our class online

In this sitiuation you will be contacted as soon as possible and advised on the the action being taken. We will always try our best to keep you safe and happy :)

These terms are subject to change at any time and will be updated as per government guidelines as and when required.
