Pancake Stack Cake Class - Parent & Child Class

Parent & Child Class - suitable for ages 8+ and a supervising adult

This brand new Parent & Child class will be a fun day creating a brilliant 'is it cake' stack of pancakes!

What we'll cover:

• Cutting, filling and smoothing a 6" sponge cake
• Learning how to work with sugarpaste to create a cake covering
• Learning how to paint on sugatpaste to create realistic effects
• Creating realistic butter and syrup

You will take home your completed cake 

All the equipment, tools and edible materials you need will be provided for you to use during the class.

This is great class will teach you about cake covering, using buttercream, and realistic edible effects - and a lovely chance to work together to create your masterpiece!

Booking options:

We'd like to give you the opportunity to accompany your child for a more in depth class where you will be able to learn and have fun creating a wonderful themed cake together.

Each adult & child pair will create one cake together.

As a pair, you'll work together to create your cake - previous classes have shown us how joyful it can be to work alongside your child in a creative project and this is a wonderful theme to study together!

Please do not book unsupervised children on this class.

We will provide as much tea, coffee and soft drinks as you would like throughout the day, however, if you have a particular preference, you are of course welcome to bring your own refreshments.  Please bring a packed lunch with you - we will take a short break for lunch and it's hungry work so bring something yummy!

Please note: This course does not include baking of cakes - these will be provided for you on the day and will be pre-baked by an external supplier. For this reason, I am unable to cater for any dietary requirements - please email me if this is a problem as I can offer a £5 discount if you would like to bring your own 6" cake :) 

Cancellations Policy: 

Class bookings are non-refundable. If you cancel before 14 days in advance of a class, you will receive a credit to the value of your class (less booking fee) for a future class.

If you cancel within 14 days of a class taking place, we offer a 50% credit towards a future class.

If you cancel within 7 days of a class taking place, no credit will be given.

All classes include a non-refundable £25 booking fee.
