Monthly Miniatures - our monthly themed 'miniatures' cupcake class

Daytime: 10am - 1pm

Evening 7pm - 10pm

A brand new monthly cupcake class featuring new designs every month - come and learn gorgeous cupcake decorating skills in these unique new sessions!

Each month, I'll be designing a new set of four cupcakes with a specific theme - I'll teach you how to create them using many innovative techniques to create adorable fully edible miniature versions of real life items. Please see the list below for dates and themes that we'll be covering.

You do not have to have any experience of cake decorating - come along and enjoy a really fun sesssion - you'll meet wonderful people, share lovely stories and have a brilliant time learning lots of new skills.

You'll go home with four cupcakes complete with your handmade toppers.

We will not be discussing cupcake or buttercream recipes in these classes - please complete our Perfect Piping Class for a really thorough introduction to cupcake making and buttercream piping.

All the equipment, tools and edible materials you need will be provided for you to use during the class. Please note, the timing on these classes may overrun as they are always brand new sessions.

Thursday 19th June: 'Big' Cake Miniatures - this one's all about 'big' cakes as we make mini versions of stylish wedding style cakes - we'll be making a tiered floral cake, a hexagon monogram cake, a 'naked' cake and a mini cupcake display  

Thursday 24th July: Designer Delights Miniatures - we'll be making mini's of more fashion icons in this class - a Dior perfume bottle, a Pandora jewellery box, a Victoria's Secret make-up bag and a Chanel powder puff.

Thursday 18th September: Fabulous Food! - we'll be making mini plates of favourite foods - pizza, fish and chips, spaghetti bolognese and beans on toast. Lots of brillaint textures and techniques in this one!

Thursday 16th October: Autumn Cosy Cupcakes - we'll make a selection of themed cosy cupcakes this month including a hot chocolate, pair of Ugg boots, knitted scarf and hat, reading book and candle.

Thursday 20th November: Winter Jellycat deisgns - we'll make a selection of Jellycat inspired toy designs featuring the new Christmas range of toys (deisgns tbc once they are launched).

Thursday 4th & Thursday 11th December: Santas Workshop - this will be a two-part class where we'll make six cupcakes and a display board over two separate classes. We'll make: a display backdrop of Santa's workshop featuring wood panelling, windows and snow. Cupcake miniatures of traditional toys: a dollshouse, a drum and sticks, a bag of poresents, elf tools, a teddybear and rocking horse. 

 More dates will be added throughout the year..

Gluten Free / Dairy Free - we will be able to make cupcakes using Gluten Free / Dairy Free ingredients alongside our other cupcakes for the class - if this would suit you, please let us know when you book so that we can prepare GF / DF options for you.
