The online 'Pizza' Cake Class

This cake trend is alllll over the internet and we're going to get to grips with the tips and tricks to make your very own insta-worthy 'pizza cake' in this wonderful online class!

This fabulous online class covers: 

• How to prepare and bake your own pizza cake
• Prepping cake slices for perfect symmetry (I love symmetry!)
• Filling your cake slices beautifully for a picture-perfect finish
• Discussion of different options for filling and flavours
• Buttercream recipe and top tips
• Choosing your own colour scheme with advice on how to pick appropriate colours for this style of cake
• Colouring your buttercream
• Buttercream Piping techniques using at least four different piping nozzles
• Using specialist piping tips to create drop-flowers
• Planning the design of your pizza cake and tips for perfect aesthetic results
• Completing your finished pizza cake with your new skills

We also discuss ways you can personalise these cakes and ideas for making it individual, leaving you with an awesome new skill for your portfolio :) 

The class will be broken down into different teaching units, including pre-class recipe baking video, printables, a recorded live class and Q&A - all taking place in a private Facebook community.

The recording of the live class focuses on making perfect buttercream and piping techniques - you will therefore need to bake your cakes prior to watching the live class recording if you wish to join in with the lesson.

Once you have booked your space, you will be sent an email containing ingredients and equipment lists and a link to join the private Facebook group (this may take up to 24 hours as I have to send it manually).

Please note: this is a UK based class and we will be referencing products and equipment from the UK, although they are easily available in other countries :) 

Ingredients: All ingredients for this class can be purchased from your regular supermarket (we'll send you a full recipe and ingredients list once you've booked the class). 

Specialist equipment for the class: you'll need a few specific products in order to take this class, all of which can be purchased in online retailers such as Amazon, Ebay or cake craft shops - you'll receive an information sheet with ALL the information on what you ned to buy (and also what is essential and what is not!), you'll need:

• cake mould
• at least one gel food colouring
• some disposable icing bags
• a few piping nozzles 

This wonderful class will give you the opportunity to learn life-long skills that you can use on both cakes and cupcakes for all your future bakes - a fabulous foundation for your knowedge in cake decorating - I look forward to  welcoming you to my online learning community!

• I'll send you joining details for our private Facebook group, this will be sent out within two working days.
• You'll receive emails with class, equipment and ingredient information.
• Your live class is pre-recorded and is instantly accessible in our private Facebook group.
• All videos, PDF's, and certificates will be available in the 'files' section of the Facebook group, we will also label them with topic themes so that they are easy for you to locate.
• You can re-visit it gain and again at a time that suits you!
• Your tutor, Kirsty, will be available for questions and updates in the group if you need any help.
