In this wonderful seasonal class, we'll be making a stunning Gingerbread House from scratch - perfect for you to display with your own festive decorations or an amazing gift for a loved one!

The Gingerbread House class will cover:

• The perfect gingerbread recipe - I'll give you a super tasty, super strong gingerbread recipe that won't spread and will give you a wonderful foundation for assembling and decorating.
• THREE of my personally designed gingerbread house templates, so you can work at a level that suits you - two simple square houses and a more intricate Victorian style house.
• How to layout and plan your design for your house.
• Making perfect soft Royal Icing from scratch.
• How to pipe your designs using Royal Icing.
• How to construct your gingerbread house.
• Creative techinques for visual effects, including using sprinkles, sprays and snow effects.

Our class takes place on Facebook in a private learning group.  

You will need the following basic ingredients and equipment to take part:

• Flour, Water, Butter, Sugar, Ginger, Cinnamon, Syrup. 
• Icing Sugar
• Egg White
• Small piping bag(s)
• Scissors
• Small Paintbrush

And if you wish:

• Cake Board 
• Sugarpaste

How it works:

• Book your space
• I'll send you joining details for our private Facebook group within 2 working days
• You'll receive an email with class, equipment and ingredient information.
• Your facebook group will include a ready-to-print gingerbread recipes and PDFs of your gingerbread house templates so that you can pre-make your gingerbread in preparation for your live decorating class.
• You will be able to instantly access the recording of our live class, where  I will teach you how to mix your royal icing to the correct consistency, how to design your house and how to pipe your design onto your gingerbread.
• A very detailed step-by-step download will be uploaded to help you construct your house once decorated.
• All live recordings are saved to our private learning group so that you can re-visit it gain and again at a time that suits you!
• Your tutor, Kirsty, will be available for questions and updates in the group if you need any help.
