Join me on my best-selling Cupcake Bouquet Class and make the perfect edible bouquet - a unique and beautiful skill to add to your cake-making repertoire, just in time for Valentine's Day! We'll be making a pretty pastel version of my buttercream bouquet:
What we will cover:
The perfect buttercream recipe for lovely smooth piping and decorating (not the same as my cupcake buttercream!).
A variety of buttercream piping techniques including:
- Stunning piped mini-roses with piped green leaves
- Large piped roses
- Piped two-tone buttercream tulips using 'Nifty Nozzles'
- Beautiful large piped Peony
- Frilly two-tone flowers
- Perfect piped Chyrsanthemums
You will be carefully taught the techniques and given time to practise each technique before going live on your final cupcakes.
- Colouring Buttercream to suit your desired colour scheme
- Assembling a cupcake 'bouquet' from scratch - including plant pot, cellophane and tissue paper wrapping techniques, ribbons and bows, gift tags, and of course, cupcakes!
You will go home with a perfect and original bouquet of cupcakes ready to present to your loved one (and easy to replicate forevermore!). You will also be given a fact sheet with full details of all of the products, recipes and tools that we have used throughout the day and a step by step guide to making the bouquet.
All the equipment, tools and edible materials you need will be provided for you to use during the class.
This course is mainly focused on piping techniques and is quite intense (be prepared for achy hands!!) - you will spend a lot of time practising different effects and learning how to master each nozzle and the huge amount of variation you can achieve with each one. If you suffer from arthritis or other hand related aches/pains, this class is NOT recommended.

We will provide as much tea, coffee and soft drinks as you would like throughout the day, however, if you have a particular preference, you are of course welcome to bring your own refreshments.
Please let us know if you would like gluten / wheat free cakes prepared for you to work on.
Please note: This course does not include baking of cupcakes or making of icing / buttercream - these will be provided for you on the day and will be lovingly pre-made for you in the CakeyBake home kitchen (which has been inspected and approved by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council Environmental Health Office)
Class bookings are non-refundable. If you cancel before 14 days in advance of a class, you will receive a credit to the value of your class (less booking fee) for a future class.
If you cancel within 14 days of a class taking place, we offer a 50% credit towards a future class.
If you cancel within 7 days of a class taking plce, no credit will be given.
All classes include a non-refundable £25 booking fee
